The neighborhood of Hilltop extends from Colorado Boulevard on the west to Holly Street on the east and from Eighth south to Alameda Avenue. It is approximately one square mile in size and includes the 5,434-foot crest of Cranmer Park, highest point in east Denver.

The area was first platted in 1886 and early homeowners included businessmen and as well as many of the construction workers who helped build other homes at the turn-of-the-century. Today’s residents enjoy a well-established central city neighborhood which is a short commute to downtown and within a mile of the Cherry Creek Shopping area.

Hilltop has many large, expensive single-family homes on large lots with mature trees and landscaping. The neighborhood is also full of houses that have historical or architectural significance. Efforts to preserve numerous properties have been made over the past few years to protect the neighborhood’s heritage and its unique character.

Recent single family home sales in Hilltop ranged from $220,000 to $2,200,000 with averages of 2,078 square feet and an average sales price of $599,401.

Recent condo sales ranged from $88,000 to $465,000 with averages of 1,438 square feet and an average sales price of $236,214.
